Q: What is the difference between a ferry and fast ferry/catamaran?

The ferries are vessels which can take both vehicles and passengers, while the fast ferries (or catamarans) are considered to be the vessels that are only used for the passenger transportation.

Q: Do the Naviera Armas ferries allow pets on board?

The majority of car ferries do accept the pets on board, but they of course need to have adequate accessories such as a muzzle or a leash if you’re taking your dog with you, or appropriate transport bags for smaller pets and animals. The most important thing however is that they do not pose a disturbance to other passengers on the boat.

Q: Do I have to pay additional fees for luggage storage on the departures operated by Naviera Armas?

There are no additional fees for the luggage storage on the vessels given the fact you bring them with you to the passenger lounge. However, it is important to pay attention to the size of the items of course, and to make sure that you report any unusually large items that you’re going to take with you on board of the boats.

All the vessels provide the passengers with Wi-Fi, but of course, the reach of the Wi-Fi is limited especially when you find yourself a bit further away from the mainland where the reception might not be as good.

There are some exceptions and cases in which it is allowed to do so, but only if the bike is folded and packed.
