Sandefjord Airport (TRF),<\/strong> or Torp<\/strong>, is an international airport located 7.4 kilometers outside the Norwegian city of Sandefjord and 110 km southeast of Oslo, the country\u2019s capital. Torp Airport is simultaneously a regional airport for the Vestfold region and a low-cost airport for Eastern Norway and Oslo. It is a base for Norwegian airline Wider\u00f8e, as well as Ryanair, Wizzair, Norwegian Air International, and KLM Cityhopper.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How to get from Sandefjord Airport to Oslo<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/span>Airport bus<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Torp Express bus service <\/strong>offers transfer from Torp airport to Oslo Bus Terminal and back, with several stops along the way. The timetables available online correspond with most international flights, and the duration of travel is approximately two hours. Tickets are available for purchase on the bus. For a better deal on the tickets, book through the operator\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Train<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Norwegian company Vy<\/strong> operates trains from the Torp Airport train station to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The shuttle bus ride from the airport to the train station is included in the train ticket. To reach Torp airport by train from Oslo Central Station, take the R11 regional train (terminating in Skien or Larvik) to Torp station, where a shuttle bus will be waiting. The train ride is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes long.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> Train departing from Oslo at 23:39 is not met by a shuttle bus.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Taxi<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Torp Airport taxi depot is right outside the Arrivals area, with several taxi operators offering services. Keep in mind that Oslo is 80 minutes away by car, so the fees might be high. To get to nearby cities, taking a taxi is easy and affordable.<\/p>\n

From Torp Airport, follow the E18 to Oslo. From Oslo, stay on the E18, direction Drammen, and take the Torp Sandefjord Airport exit.<\/p>\n
