Since it is a small international airport, featuring seasonal flights mostly to United Kingdom, in 2016 it handled only <\/span><b>1.1 million passengers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to the airport\u2019s size, public transport is not extensive.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Bus: <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/Traveling.com\/en-us\/travel-murcia\">Bus Murcia<\/a><\/td><td><a href=\"https:\/\/Traveling.com\/en-us\/travel-murcia-airport\">Bus Murcia (Airport)<\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Taxi services:<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In case you have missed those rare bus departures, taxi is the only option for reaching the city centre. There is a taxi rank at the airport. You will have to pay 3,50\u20ac for pick-up at the airport and 0,50\u20ac in case you have luggage. <\/span><b>The average cost of taking a taxi to Murcia is 55\u20ac.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Transfer:<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If you don\u2019t like riding in a bus and hesitate to take a taxi, consider <\/span><b>booking a private transfer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which will wait for you at the airport and take you to your hotel or wherever you need to go. The transfer company will send a professional driver to pick you up.
