It serves as a hub for Scandinavian Airlines and a base for Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Norwegian Air Shuttle. In 2018 it handled over <strong>30<\/strong><\/span><b> million passengers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_Copenhagen_Airport_to_Copenhagen\"><\/span><span id=\"How_to_get_from_Newcastle_Airport_to_Newcastle\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><strong>How to get from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen<\/strong><b><br \/><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Public_transport\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #6a9fff;\">Public transport<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the biggest airport in Scandinavia, the Copenhagen Airport has a well-developed system of public transport to and from the airport. You can choose between metro, bus and train.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Metro\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #6a9fff;\"><strong>Metro<\/strong> <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The metro station is <\/span><b>located in an extension of the Terminal 3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Do not worry about getting on the wrong train, since all of them go in the same direction, <\/span><b>M2 to Vanl\u00f8se Station<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the day, the train runs every 4 &#8211; 6 minutes, while during the nighttime the trains operate every 15 &#8211; 20 minutes.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>journey takes around 15 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>NOTE: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets can be purchased at the metro station and at the DSB ticket sales counter in Terminal 3. Keep in mind that <\/span><b>the machines only accept coins and all major credit cards, not notes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This is valid for trains as well.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Train\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #6a9fff;\">Train<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The train station is also<\/span><b> located in Terminal 3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In case you\u2019re in Terminal 1, take a <\/span><b>free shuttle bus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which will take you there in 5 minutes.
