According to the statistics, Rotterdam Airport handled almost <strong>1.9 million passengers<\/strong> last year making it the <strong>third largest airport in the Netherlands.<\/strong> The airport mostly serves as a base for low-cost companies, like the Dutch Transavia and Vueling.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_Rotterdam_The_Hague_Airport_to_Rotterdam_and_Hague\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">How to get from Rotterdam The Hague Airport to Rotterdam and Hague<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Local_bus\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Local bus<\/span> <\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>To Rotterdam<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>:<\/strong> There is just one option of getting to Rotterdam city centre (Rotterdam Centraal station) by public transportation, and that is by <\/span><strong>bus line 33<\/strong><b>. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The buses are operated by RET bus company.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first bus departs from the airport at 5:49 and the last one at 00:11. The bus are frequent during the day and they run <strong>every 10 to 15 minutes.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <strong>single ticket costs approximately 4\u20ac<\/strong> (one hour) and it can be bought directly from the driver or from the ticket machine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The journey to the main railway station Rotterdam Centraal lasts approximately 20 minutes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>To the Hague:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we already mentioned, the airport serves the Hague as well, but to reach it, you will have to get on bus line 33 to Meijersplein Metro (the opposite direction than the one to Rotterdam).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you get to the metro station, get on line E (Randstadrail) to the Hague Centraal railway station. <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/mapa-metro.com\/mapas\/La%20Haya\/la-haya-metro-map.jpg\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>See the metro map<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and route plan of RET metro line E (blue).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The journey by bus lasts 7 minutes, and by metro around 25 minutes <\/strong>so the single hour ticket (<strong>4\u20ac<\/strong>) should be enough.
