The airport is located 10km from Varna city centre, <\/span><b>near the town of Aksakovo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The airport features both domestic and international flights to more than 70 destinations by more than 50 air carriers. In 2016 the airport handled <\/span><b>1.7 million passengers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_Varna_Airport_to_Varna\"><\/span>How to get from Varna Airport to Varna<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bus\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Bus<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outside Terminal 2 there is a bus<\/span><b> line 409<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which provides connection between the airport and the city centre (and to the Golden Sands resort).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The journey takes 20 minutes (to the Golden Sands 50 minutes).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is possible to get off at other bus stops in Varna, and at the resort Saints Constantine and Helena. <\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bus departs every 15 minutes. <\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.varnatraffic.com\/en\/Line\/Index\/409\">See the timetable.<\/a><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Taxi_service\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Taxi service<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the beginning of 2017 the taxi services at Varna Airport are entrusted to Triumf Taxi, the biggest and fast growing company in the sector in Eastern Bulgaria. The price is approximately 20\u20ac per direction. You can find a taxi at the taxi rank in front of the terminal building. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transfer\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Transfer<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t like using the public transport and hesitate to take a taxi, consider booking a private transfer which will wait for you on the airport and take you to your destination. The transfer company will send a professional driver to pick you up. Hotel Mirage offers bed and breakfast service at low cost, so if you want to save some money, this is the place for you. Bellevue is another option, if you&#8217;re looking for a quiet holiday away from the actual resort. The room (and hotel in general) is lovely, clean and spacious, pool is nice and dining is delicious. <\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1612862565622\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">I would like to visit Varna in between flights.
