In 2014, the airport handled <\/span><b>almost 4.5 million passengers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> making it<\/span><b> the fourth busiest in the country<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Due to its location, getting to and from the airport can take a while, and here are the ways in which you can do that. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_Trondheim_Airport_to_Trondheim\"><\/span>How to get from Trondheim Airport to Trondheim<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Airport_shuttle_bus\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Airport shuttle bus<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are <\/span><b>two competing shuttle buses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the airport waiting for the passengers to take them to the Trondheim city center.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Flybussen (Nettbuss)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; the bus departs from the airport and stops to all the hotels in the city center. The last stop is at<\/span><b> St. Olavs hospital<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Sorgenfri station<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The bus departs every <\/span><b>10-15 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the journey takes approximately <\/span><b>40 minutes.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The price of the ticket for an adult person is <\/span><b>140 NOK (14,5 \u20ac)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>children are able to travel for free<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> when accompanied by a paying adult.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>V\u00e6rness-ekspressen (Unibuss)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> serves: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V\u00e6rnes &#8211; Ranheim &#8211; Solsiden &#8211; Royal Garden &#8211; Torget &#8211; NTNU \u2013 Moholt. The bus departs every <\/span><b>15-20 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on weekdays, and around every hour on weekends. The price of one-way ticket is <\/span><b>160 NOK (16,5 \u20ac) for adults and 80 NOK (~8 \u20ac) for children<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. There is also an option of getting a <\/span><b>discount by buying the ticket online<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Train\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Train<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another way to get to Trondheim is by train which is <\/span><b>the fastest and cheapest <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">way to travel. Follow the train symbols and you will get to the airport\u2019s train station called \u2018\u2019<\/span><b>V\u00e6rness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019\u2019. The train departs from the airport <\/span><b>once per hour <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the journey takes approximately <\/span><b>35 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The price of a ticket <\/span><b>for an adult<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is <\/span><b>79 NOK (~8 \u20ac)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>40 NOK (~4 \u20ac) for children<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Tickets can be bought from the vending machines at the airport. Have in mind that there is an option of buying the ticket on board, but in that case you have to pay a <\/span><b>fee of 40 NOK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> per ticket. The last train departs at <\/span><b>22:54.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>NSB local train<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> connects Trondheim center and <\/span><b>\u00c5re<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the famous ski resort in Sweden.
