More than <strong>24 million passengers <\/strong>used the Brussels Airport in 2017.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_Brussels_Zaventem_Airport_to_Brussels\"><\/span>How to get from Brussels Zaventem Airport to Brussels<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The airport is well connected to Brussels and there are several means of transport at your disposal.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bus\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Bus<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>There are several different platforms at the airport and they are all used by different companies: De Lijn, MIVB\/STIB, Antwerp-Brussels Airport Express, Ouibus, etc.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>De Lijn:<\/strong> Lines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delijn.be\/en\/lijnen\/lijn\/3\/272\/1\/272_Zaventem_-_Brussel#dienstregeling\">272<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delijn.be\/en\/lijnen\/lijn\/3\/471\/1\/471_Zaventem_-_Brussel#dienstregeling\">471<\/a> drive to Brussels North station, lines 272, 471 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delijn.be\/en\/lijnen\/lijn\/3\/620\/1\/620_Zaventem_-_Anderlecht#dienstregeling\">620<\/a> to NATO, while lines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delijn.be\/en\/lijnen\/lijn\/3\/359\/3\/359_Zaventem_-_Roodebeek#dienstregeling\">359<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delijn.be\/en\/lijnen\/lijn\/3\/659\/2\/659_Zaventem_-_Roodebeek#dienstregeling\">659<\/a> take you to underground Roodebeek station. Inside the perimeter of the airport, De Lijn buses are free of charge. Buses than run through Bucargo depart from Platform B, the other services depart from Platform A. A single fare ticket is \u20ac3.<\/li>\n<li><strong>MIVB\/STIB: <\/strong>An express service between Brussels airport and the European quarter, it departs from platform C and the journey takes 30 minutes. Line number <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stib-mivb.be\/horaires-dienstregeling2.html?l=en&amp;_line=12&amp;_directioncode=V\">12<\/a> operates from Monday to Friday, while line number <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stib-mivb.be\/horaires-dienstregeling2.html?l=en&amp;_line=21&amp;_directioncode=V\">21<\/a> operates during all week, including weekends and holidays, and serves all the stops.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Antwerp-Brussels Airport Express:<\/strong> A service running between Antwerp and Brussels airport which stops at the Central Station (Kon. Astridplein) and Crowne Plaza. Travel time is 35 &#8211; 45 minutes, depending on the station. A one way adult ticket is \u20ac10, while for children the fare is \u20ac5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Train\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Train<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Brussels airport &#8211; Zaventem station is located at the basement level of the airport and offers both national and international connections. The journey to Brussels-Central, the main railway station in Brussels, takes 17 minutes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International trains run frequently to the main cities in the Netherlands, such as Rotterdam, The Hague or Amsterdam. You can also go to Brussels Midi Station where there are trains that run to Cologne (Germany), Paris (France), Lille (France) or London (UK).<\/li>\n<li>National trains operate to Antwerp (32 min), Bruges (90 min), Charleroi (83 min), Ghent (54 min), Liege (60 min), Leuven (15 min) and Namura (72 min). You can easily recognize them since they are blue with a yellow logo. The journey downtown takes about 20 minutes and the fare is \u20ac45 (to Midi Station \u20ac43 and to Grand Place \u20ac41). If you wish to take a taxi to Antwerp, it will cost you \u20ac116, and to Leuven \u20ac62.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transfer\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">Transfer<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>If you are not a fan of public transport and hesitate to take a taxi, we recommend you to <a href=\"https:\/\/transfers.Traveling.com\/\">book a private transfer online<\/a> which will wait for you at the airport and take you to your destination. The journey time is 2h 15min.
