These reviews were originally written under our former names, GetByBus and GetByFerry. But don’t worry, it’s all us! Same company, same trusted partners, just with a new vibe as Traveling.com.
The journey was smooth and simple, the seats were comfortable, and we felt safe....Absolutely no explanation/communication at passport control. At one point, our passports were collected and taken to be checked, then passed back down through the seats where we just had to grab our own (no security whatsoever - and I think the driver just couldn't be bothered walking all the way to the back of the bus). At another, a few people realised we had to get off the bus to have our passports manually stamped, but the drivers said nothing - they just looked at us as though we were all expected to understand what we were meant to do. We knew there would be passport control but the lack of communication was terrible.
Also, the journey took an hour longer than it was meant to due to delays at passport control and the drivers' 20 minute rest stop at Bosnia-Herzegovina. That is fine, we didn't mind stopping and of course you should expect delays, but it would have been nice to be forewarned, especially as we (and I'm guessing most others) had people waiting for us in Makarska.
