Taxi from airport to city seems to be exremally expensive. I was charged 65eur. Is it ok?
Dear Rota,
As it was stated in the article, the taxi rate for Ljubljana Airport should’ve been around 30 to 35 Euro if it was official airport taxi. It is always a risk to take a taxi from the airport. To avoid getting scammed, it is advisable to always ask the price of the ride in advance.

We will arrive from Copenhagen, if we wanna go to Maribor, what is the easest way to go, bus or train and how?
Dear Gert,
There are regular daily departures from Ljubljana Bus and Train Station to Maribor so you can choose either option. Train is a bit faster, you’ll get to Maribor 20-30 minutes earlier than with a bus.

We want to take a bus with our dis-assembled bicycles in a special bike bag from the Ljubljana airport to the central bus station. Will the two of us with our bags be allowed on the bus?
Dear Lenny,
Bags with bicycles will probably need to go to the luggage compartment. Other than that, there should be no problems with boarding the bus.

Hello,
I’m 99% sure I’ve booked a bus to Ljubljana from the airport for Sunday but I can’t see anything on my emails as confirmation or anything on my bank account.
Is there any way of checking??
Thanks.
Dear Billy,
Since there was no confirmation on your e-mail or transaction on your bank account, something went wrong during the booking and your ticket has not been booked. We kindly ask you to book it again.
Best regards,
Gabriela GBB Team
I think it should be pointed more clearly that passengers will pay for taxi 30-35 eur only if they book it in advance. If they just hop in the first taxi at the airport itself, they will pay 60- 70 eur , can be even more.
Hello,
What is the easiest way to get from the airport to Izola?
Thank you for your answer…
Jasper
Hi Jasper,
There are several ways you can reach Izola from the airport.
One of them is boarding the shuttle bus from the airport to the main bus station in Ljubljana and then taking another bus from Ljubljana to Izola. Another solution, maybe the easiest one, would be booking a private transfer directly from Ljubljana Airport to Izola.

Kristina, GetByBus

Hi.
I am scheduled to arrive at Ljubljana airport at 19:30 on a Tuesday, so I am likely to miss the bus 28 (last bus 20:00) by the time I clear customs & immigration.
Can I just board a bus shuttle (either GoOpti or Nomago) at the airport without booking? Will there be bus shuttles for those who don’t have a booking? I am not sure of the time when I can actually get out of the airport (e.g. due to delay).
Thank you very much, and best regards!
Hi,
getting on a bus without booking a ticket is probably going to be possible without any problems, but it is always good to have in mind it all depends on the number of passengers.
It is definitely better to book your ticket for one of the scheduled departures. Click here and see all the details as well as book your tickets in a few clicks.
