Hi. We are arriving at Pisa airport in October and need to be at the Calamidoro Hotel, Via del Tiglia. Is there a direct bus service and how much would this cost just one way. Thank you
Dear Angie,
There is no direct bus line to Your accommodation which is located in Calcinaia (a place in the province of Pisa). What I suggest is to take a bus from the airport to the main train station and then train to Calcinaia.
Best regards!

Hi we need to get from Pisa town to Castellina for a wedding is there a train ? Also on way home need to get train from Castellina to Pisa centre, then day trip to Florence by train? Any recommendations please?
Dear Jo,
I suggest to take a regional train from Pisa Train Station to Siena Train Station. Then transfer to bus line 125 which departs from the train station and runs to Castellina Chianti. Overall, train connections in Italy are well developed so you can go by train from Pisa to Florence or you can take a bus to Florence as well. You can check the timetable of bus departures on the following link – https://getbybus.com/en/bus-pisa-to-florence

Hello,
I will be arriving in Pisa airport on a Friday evening and I am due to stay in Barga, but I will arrive too late and there is a lengthy walk to the hotel from the bus stop and therefore I have decided to stay in Pisa overnight and catch the prearranged bus from the airport the following day. I will need to get back to the bus pick up lot to catch my coach/bus to the hotel. Is it possible/easy to get back to the pick up lot the following day?
Dear Stephanie,
As you may have seen in the blog post, there’s a shuttle train and a local bus operating between Pisa Airport and Pisa city centre, so you can easily get back to the airport easily. Peoplemover train departs from Pisa Central Train Station and makes a stop at San Giusto/Aurelia station as well, so maybe you could use one of these two stations as your starting points. Or you can always get a private transfer from Pisa.
Best regards,
Melani GBB Team
We are travelling to Pisa on the 3rd of October for 2 nights staying at the Quadra key residence apart hotel . Which is the easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel?
Hi Beverly,
we cannot locate the mentioned hotel, only the one in Florence.
Can you provide us with the exact address?
That way we can see if you need to switch buses/trains or if you can get to your accommodation using one of the regular bus or train lines.
Best,
GBB Team
Groeten,
Marija, GetByBus Team
