How to get from Mendoza Airport to city center

Bus

Technically, bus lines 675 and 680 can take you from the airport to the Mendoza city center. However, this isn’t convenient because you cannot pay in cash when boarding the public buses. Instead, you need a local Mendoza card, which you can only buy in the city. It’s common for foreigners to ask a local to pay for them in exchange for money.

Bus schedules may vary depending on the day and time, so it’s best to check the latest timetable online or use a transit app before your trip.

Taxi

As elsewhere, there are taxis available at the airport. However, some taxis have a fixed rate and are called remis, for which you need to buy a ticket inside the terminal, at their kiosk.

Transfer

Booking a private transfer from Mendoza Airport to nearby cities is a good and convenient option if you don’t mind paying a bit more than you would for the bus. Pre-booking a transfer ensures that a professional driver will welcome you upon arrival and take you directly to your accommodation.

Car hire

Car rental is available at the airport. Several major companies offer their services, such as Alamo, Europcar, and Avis. However, renting a car online is a good way to avoid long queues.
