Sadly this website fails to provide details. Comprehensive information on Bus services to and from Naples Airport seem impossible to locate.anywhere, even at the Airport itself. For example, looking for times for buses from Naples Airport to Battipaglia on a Sunday, no information is found. However, I know are 3 services each way that operate ONLY on Sundays.

  2. Peter

Please could you inform me of a local bus /mini bus service from Naples Airport to Sorrento, including pick up point at airport,

    • Dear Peter,

There’s a bus from Naples Airport to Sorrento and it costs €10 (one-way ticket). You can see here the timetable. As an alternative You can book a transfer on Transfers.Getbybus. It is our page for booking door-to-door transfers and the drivers will take you directly to your accommodation.

Hi – I have booked a bus to Polignano a Mare which leaves from Naples Metro Park. Does the airport bus go to Mtero Park bus station?
Or is it a different bus station?
If it’s a different bus station, how do I transfer between the 2 please?
    Thanks, Trish

    • Dear Trish,

The airport bus goes to Central Train Station but the train station is in the proximity of Metro Park bus station (200m), so there’s no need for a transfer.

      Best regards!

  5. Melanie H.

Ciao, can you please tell me if there is a city bus that will transport me from Capo airport to Naples city center? I need to go to and from airport a few times during my 2-week stay and so I’d like to use the Unico pass to travel to and from airport, rather than the more expensive Alibus (5 Euros each way). Mille grazie.

    • Dear Melanie,

There’s actually one local city bus line C68 which stops near the airport. It departs from Piazza Carlo III. You can check the route and timetable here – https://goo.gl/qtWFqb

      Best regards!

I am staying in Sorrento so have read I can get a bus, train or metro to Sorrento. I have looked all over to find a timetable. Can you tell me what is the latest bus or train to Sorrento?

    • Dear Harriet,

There are buses departing from the airport to city centre at 21:10 and the next one at 21:30. However, if you are staying in Sorrento, you can take a direct bus from Naples Airport, here’s the timetable.

  8. Dave

    Hi
    Good afternoon.

We are 4 young friends reach Naples Airport next week on Wednesday afternoon. Need to go to Hotel San Pietro. Don’t you think it is more economical to get Taxi rather than Alibus?

How much is Taxi to Hotel San Pietro for 4 passenger?

    Please advise

    Many Thanks
    Dave

    • Dear Dave,

An approximate price for a taxi ride from Naples Airport to Centro Storico (city centre) would cost €18 and shuttle bus costs €5 so it would be a better option to take a taxi and share the cost.

      Best regards!
      Melani, GBB Team

      • Bill Choi

Your explanation would make sense if they charged 18 Euros. The airport taxi drivers and handler insisted on 25 euros to take 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) with 4 bags to the central bus station. I showed them the trip advisor and your estimate but they wouldn’t change their price. Clearly, they’re hanging up to make money off the foreign tourists.

        • Dear Bill,

Taxi prices are prone to changes and may vary depending on the taxi company, the price we put is an average price. To avoid getting overcharged, we suggest booking a private transfer with fixed price. More info on https://getbytransfer.com/

          Best regards,
          Melani GBB Team

  9. tom

Hello. If not to much trouble for you may I know how much is the taxi fare from naples international airport to hotel palazzo esedra.
at least i will know roughly the price i’m gonna have to pay if the taxi driver going to charge a lit bit more than usual. thank you.

    • Dear Tom,

In these cases it would be best to book a transfer online. That way you will have a fixed price right away and there’s no worry of getting overcharged.

      Best regards,
      Melani, GBB Team

My wife and I arrive into Naples Airport from the UK on Sunday 12th May 2009. We are staying at Casa Neo Cuore Di Napoli, Via Monteoliveto 86, Naples Historical Centre, 80134.
Is the shuttle bus a viable option and how much will it cost for transfers please.

    • Dear Stephen,

Since there’s no direct bus connection between Naples Airport and your accommodation, I suggest to book a transfer in advance or take a taxi. A booked transfer would cost you around €40 (in total).

      Best regards,
      Melani, GBB Team

    Ciao Melanie,
Thanks first for all the replies to make our trips easier.
In my case, my wife and me are arriving at Naples airport tomorrow (31/Dec/2018) at 22:10. I understand there are no buses at that time on that day. Can you please let me know how much I should be expecting to pay for a taxi on that day at that time from the airport to the Spanish Quarter?
    Thanks in advanced.
    Jose.

    • Kristina

      Hi Jose,
You are more than welcome, we are trying to help our readers as much as we can. 🙂
The last shuttle bus from the airport should run around 23:40. Nevertheless, you will find many taxis parked in front of the airport building, and the prices of the ride from the airport to the city centre usually go around 20€.

      All best,
      Kristina

  12. Jonathan

Hi, what is the Ali bus schedule from Porto to the airport in January?

  13. Maria

Where I can find a transport from Naples Centre to the airport about 4 a.m.?

    • Dear Maria,

Currently there’s no public transport from Naples to the airport at this hour so you will probably need to order a taxi.

      Best regards,
      Melani GBB Team

  14. tonya Murphy

Please can you advise if it is easier to get a taxi to Via Catullo or is there a bus from the airport and what is the cost for both please

    • Dear Tonya,

There’s no direct bus from the airport to Via Catullo, the airport bus runs to Napoli Centrale (main train station) and Piazza Municipio. You should either use combination of train and metro to get to Via Catullo, but in my opinion, the least complicated option is to just get a taxi. It will cost around €20.

      Best regards,
      Melani GBB Team

  15. Shandy Yeoh

Hi, are there any AliBus service running from Naples Airport to Varco Immacolatella bus station during the weekends? Thank you!

    Shandy x

    • Dear Shandy,

First you need to take the shuttle bus from the airport to Piazza Garibaldi and then transfer to L1 (Piscinola) metro line and get off at Università metro station. From there you have additional 5 min walk to Varco Immacolatella.

      Best regards
