Buying a Single Ticket
Hey there, traveler! We’re glad to see you here. Ready to hit the road? Buying a ticket on Traveling.com is easy peasy, but we’ve got a few tips to make it even smoother:

Alright, so you’ve landed on our site and you want to travel. First step?
You’ll see a nice, clean search box right in front of you. Just pop in your starting point, your destination, and the date you want to travel. That’s it — easy as that!
Just a heads-up — this little guide is for buying a single ticket only. If you’re looking to book a two-way trip, that’s a whole different story (as you can already tell, no return date here). Check out our separate guide for booking a return ticket!
Once you’ve filled out all the boxes, pick the number of passengers – and hey, we don’t mind if you’re traveling alone! When you click on the “passengers” option, as shown in the picture above, you’ll see some extra categories with discounted prices.
Hit “search”, and you’re onto the next step!
Choose your route
If you didn’t get lost in the meantime, your screen should look a little something like this:
You’ll see a list of all the available departures for the route and date you picked.
Clicked the wrong option? No worries; you can easily switch between travel dates using the quick date picker or change your route with the search form at the top of the screen.
When you click on your chosen route, it will expand to show you all the details – departure time, ride duration, stops (if any), and the ticket format you’ll need when boarding the bus.
All the important stuff, right there!
Note: Most buses depart from the main bus station, but if that’s not the case, don’t worry — any special stops will be listed right there with the rest of the info.
Once you’ve found the perfect route, just hit the “Buy Ticket” button, and you’ll be sent to the next one.
Sign In / Sign Up
Here we just need some basic info about you — name, surname, email, and phone number — so we can keep you in the loop if anything changes with your trip.
But before you purchase a ticket on Traveling.com, you’ll need to sign in. If you already have an account, an email and a password will be just enough.
If you’re new here, no worries — signing up is quick and easy. We’ll just need your first and last name, email, and password. Follow the steps, and you’ll be ready to travel in no time!
The name you enter when signing up will automatically be added as the first passenger on any single ticket you buy — but you can change it during checkout if needed.
Passenger details
Now, back to filling out the rest of the information. If you have a voucher code, enter it in the box below your info to get a discount.
You can also add a few extras to make your journey even smoother — like premium customer support, SMS reminders, or flexible cancellation if you need to change your plans.

After your trip, we’d love to hear how it went! Let us know if booking was easy and if the trip was smooth sailing. Your review would mean a lot to us — but hey, if you really want to switch off that button, we’ll try not to take it too personally (no promises, though).
Speaking of green details…
You’ll notice a timer at the top right, which means your tickets are reserved for a limited time. Once the timer hits 00:00, the tickets go back for other travelers to grab. Long story short: if you want those tickets, buy them before time’s up!
Before finalizing your purchase and clicking on “Confirm & Pay”, you’ll see two checkboxes:
Click on those that apply and you’re good to go – easy, right?
Trip summary and payment
After signing up, you’ll see a clear overview of your trip — what you booked, departure details, and the total price. Then, just fill in your credit card details, and you’re all set!
If everything looks good, it’s time to wrap it up with the payment.
3D Secure authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your credit card. Your bank might ask you to enter a PIN or code to confirm the payment.
If it doesn’t go through, you’ll get an error message — it’s usually a 3D Secure issue, so check with your bank.
All that’s left is to hit “Confirm & Pay” — and you’re good to go!
If your payment goes through, you’ll be able to see the notification for successful purchase on the screen.
Your single ticket will be sent to your email, so be sure to check your inbox. If you mistyped your email during sign-up, no worries — just click the “My tickets” button in your account to download and save it.
What happens if the routes are not available?
This might happen for some routes. You might see some of the following displayed, so let us explain what it is:
- Sold out at Traveling.com – This rarely happens, but if you see a message like this, it means we have no more single ticket options available online. You may be able to find them at the bus station, however, we can’t provide any information about availability at other sales points.
- Not available online – Tickets for this specific departure can’t be bought online, but they may be available at other sales points. However, again, we can’t provide any information about availability at other sales points.
- Online sales closed – Online purchase of tickets for specific departure is no longer possible. Tickets might be available at other sales points, but we can’t provide any information about availability at other sales points.

Have return flight Sept.11,2022 at 14:00 from Zagreb Airport to Toronto, Canada.
Will be only in Kotor Montenegro. Unable to find a bus from Kotor that will either connect to Croatia Airlines in time for their 06:15 departure or can’t find a bus that goes directly to Zagreb. Either option is good. Dates are flexible (as I can stay in a hotel for a day or two) but must be on my flight to Toronto. There were a couple of buses online but it said “no online” purchases so there are no guarantees. Can you help me out.

yes, one of the bus companies providing transport between Vienna and Bratislava is Student Agency. You can check their departures, as well as those of other bus companies here.

There are now information about what counts as a children och student? Where can one find this information. Very poor!

a student is a person who can prove their student status with a valid document, regardless of age.
Regarding a child ticket, it depends on the carrier – each carrier has its own regulations on this point, and some of them don’t even offer a discount for children.
However, it is usually up to the age of 12 or 13, if there are no discounts for children, you won’t see the difference in price when choosing a departure on our website (although you picked a child ticket).

You can search for your route on our homepage using the search bar. You will get all the departures for the desired date. If you hover over the price, you will see if the price has a children’s discount and the age limit.

if it says “online sale closed” then, unfortunately, you are not able to buy the ticket for the desired departure on our website.
However, you can try to buy it directly from the carrier, or directly at the bus station.
