Don’t cut it too close. Even for short routes like Rogac Split, ferries can get busy — especially in summer. Arrive at the port 20–30 minutes early so you’re ready to board when the gate opens.
Booking in advance saves time at the dock. Rogac Split ferry tickets can be bought at the port, but if you want to skip the lines and be sure you’re on board, it’s best to book online ahead of time, especially during weekends or holidays.
Keep in mind: a ticket doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed on. If the ferry reaches capacity, late arrivals can be turned away — even with a ticket. Early boarding is the safest bet, especially during peak hours.
This is a catamaran — fast and passenger-only. You’ll be on a passenger catamaran, not a car ferry. It’s quick, comfy, and ideal for travelers heading straight to Split.
Food options may be limited — plan ahead. Some ferries on Rogac Split route don’t offer onboard snacks, so it’s a good idea to pack a water bottle and a small snack, just in case.
Views are best on the left when approaching Split. As you head into the port, sitting on the left (port) side gives you a better look at Split’s waterfront and marina. The views are great on both sides, but left has that photo-worthy arrival.
